Camp Discovery at Woldumar Nature Center has been a Lansing area tradition for over half a century! Leave winter behind & SPRING into adventure with us. Children currently enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 6th have the opportunity to get outdoors and try new things. Make friends, be adventurous, and have fun! With winter in our rearview mirror, it's time to seek out the colorful and lively spring surprises that have been snoozing all season long.
Registration Dates:
Members* & scholarship recipients: February 19, 2026
Nonmembers: February 24, 2026
* Must be a household level or higher by February 18th in order to receive the early access code.
Tuition:
Non-members: $245
- Members: $270
Accepted Payment Methods:
Woldumar accepts the following payment options, with the associated processing fees:
Credit Card: 3% processing fee
ACH: 1.5%
Check: No processing fee. Can be mailed or dropped off to the administrative building.

If you have been awarded a scholarship or are planning to pay with a check, you need to contact operations@woldumar.org within 24 hours to make payment arrangements. Unpaid registrations and registrations without arrangements will be cancelled after 7 days. PLEASE check your schedule before registering and be careful when choosing options. We are very low tech, and changes are made by a human, a very time-consuming (and costly) endeavor. Please review our refund policy below.
* You must have a current membership at the "Household Level" or higher by Feb. 18 to receive early access to camp registration. Members will receive a code in their inbox to access early registration.
Refund/Cancellation Policy:
There are no refunds for seasonal break camps.

Drop off and pick up:
Drop off at 9:00 am ***
Pick up is at 4:00 pm ***
***Our late drop off/early pickup window is 12-12:30pm. Late drop offs/early pickups cause a significant disruption to the camp program. We will not accommodate drop offs or pick-ups at other times, except in extreme situations.
Camper safety is our top priority. All campers must be dropped off directly to their camp counselor and campers are only released to approved people with ID present at pickup and must be checked out by their counselor.
