Moon Log Cabin and Herb Garden

In 1862, the Moon family constructed this cabin a few miles away from Woldumar’s current location. In 1980, the cabin was moved to our grounds. Woldumar uses the cabin for cultural heritage education. It is now open to the public on program Saturdays and during events. The porch of the Moon Log Cabin provides a popular, rustic setting for Woldumar Ceremonies. Up to 150 guests can witness your ceremony from the lawn at this regularly maintained site. Next to the Moon Log Cabin is a well maintained herb garden. The entrance to the garden is a popular location for vow renewal ceremonies and small weddings.

Walnut Glen Amphitheatre

Walnut glen is the perfect location for a private wedding. Just a short walk from the barn and deep in the woods, Walnut Glen is a favorite for many weddings due to beautiful scenery. This area is complete with a stage and wooden benches that can accommodate up to 147 guests. Walnut Glen is a serene location with a steady stream and forest backdrop.
