2016 Annual Meeting of Members took place on December 4th: 6 PM
If you’ve been wanting to get more involved at Woldumar, the annual membership meeting is a great place to start! The staff and Board of Directors of the Woldumar Nature Association convenedthe annual meeting of the membership on 12/04/2016 at 6pm. The purpose of the meeting was to elect directors and report on the current state of the association, with updates from the prior fiscal year and plans for the upcoming year. For those interested, the minutes of the previousyear’s meeting may be accessed at the link below; those minutes wereapproved at this year’s meeting.
American Heritage Festival 2016 took place on September 24th
Woldumar Nature Center hosts its annual American Heritage Festival, a one-day, family-friendly event. This annual autumn event celebrates Michigan’s rich cultural heritage. Activities will include music, vendors, demonstrations and much more!
This FREE* event features tours of the Moon Log Cabin, hayrides, pontoon boat rides on the Grand River, kids crafts, and much more!

This year’s featured local food vendor will be the Pie Hole Pizza Truck!
* There is no admission charge for this event. Donations will be requested at certain activities as a fundraiser for Woldumar’s Environmental Education Programs.

Run-A-Munk 2016 was November 5th
Early November is a great time for a run in the woods. Woldumar Nature Center is proud to host our 9th annual trail run fundraiser! Join us for Run-A-Munk 2016, scheduled for November 5th, from 9:30 AM to noon.
Support Woldumar’s environmental education programs by registering to walk/run through the scenic trails at this annual event. Both 5k and 10k options are available.

Join us as we take a step back in time and experience a piece of our rich Mid-Michigan cultural heritage with a day the whole family will enjoy. Admission is FREE! (There may be a nominal fee for some activities).
Past activities have included cultural demonstrations, guided hikes on Woldumar’s trails, pontoon eco-tours on the Grand River, Blacksmiths of Woldumar, various vendors and demonstrations, and lots of musical performances!
