Gather around the campfire on Friday, April 13th, for a fun evening hosted by the MSU Science Festival, MSU Graduate Women in Science Mid-Michigan Chapter, and Woldumar Nature Center.
Woldumar naturalists will teach you about nocturnal animals and guide you on a moonlit hike to look for owls and other creatures of the night! At 9:00 pm, learn about chemical reactions and enjoy a campfire chemistry light show with MSU chemist, Dr. Amy Pollock. Round out the evening with s’mores and a warm drink by the fire.
This is an open-house style event for all ages, with each activity lasting approximately 20 minutes.
There is no admission fee, but donations to the nature center will be accepted.
